		<description>Yes, you have to switch to something easy to spell. And I can see how fumbling the number in household question would cause funny looks too, though you’d think people could understand that more readily in an era with so many divorces and child custody sharing arrangements. Perhaps fumbling it twice was the real issue. :)</description>

No matter how many times I give my last name as &quot;MacGonagall, M-A-C&quot;, people still look under &quot;Mc&quot;. This has caused some panicky moments at airports, and with businesses that manage things like my 401k. &quot;What do you mean you have no record of me???&quot;
